Mike Minns tours a property for an out of town client.  Sometimes when clients are out of town this helps them to make the decision if they should come into town to see a specific home.

Below is a video taken of the outside of a house for an out of town client.  They are considering homes in the Austin area but finding one that suits all their needs is no easy task.  So instead of traveling to Austin just to see one house these videos help clients out of town get a better idea of how a house feels without leaving their homes.

In 2007 lenders announced they were going to start offering a 50 year mortgage.  When the media found out they decided to do a story on it and try to determine if a 50 year mortgage really made any sense.  The fact is that on a 50 year mortgage you really save very little on payment and pay almost twice the interest than you would on a 30 year mortgage!  Here is their news story.

The news did a story some years back when they discovered that people were living in properties that had been used for  Methamphetamine labs and there were no laws that required the owner to disclose it.  They called Mike Minns, Mr. Dream Home as an expert on real estate.  Here is their news story.

This is a video of Mike Minns, Mr. Dream Home taking a tour of a duplex…wait until you see this mold problem!!!

This is a video of a house tour with Mike Minns, Mr. Dream Home.  This is a house that Mike ended up buying and remodeling for a rental home.

This is just a short video made for an out of town client trying to explain to them where Travis Country neighborhood was located in relation to where they could find homes in their price range.  Their children had moved to that area and they were considering moving to the Austin area and wanted to make sure they could live close by.

This is a video made by Mike Minns, Mr. Dream Home.  The client lived out of state and was looking for investment property.  This is a good video to watch to see some tell tell signs of a foundation problem.  Keep in mind that it is always the right decision to have a licensed home inspector examine the home you are going to buy.  As a real estate professional I have seen the signs many times, but I am not licensed to do inspections or offer opinions on the condition of properties.
